The National Cleantech Conference & Exhibition (NCTCE) today launched it’s 2020 event inviting the Cleantech industry across Australia to submit their ideas for inclusion in the program.
NCTCE2020 will provide a nationally focused platform for the Cleantech industry to come together, this time in Brisbane, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on 3-4 August 2020.
The launch event was attended by about 50 industry stakeholders who hear from a number of speakers including Nicolle Kelly, Acting Deputy Director-General at the Department of Innovation, Tourism Industry Development
Dr Tim MacTaggart, Chief Deployment Officer, Redflow Sustainable Energy Storage addressed the guests saying, “Cleantech has moved beyond being a ‘science experiment’, but to fully realise the transition to a clean economy, we need to build the human infrastructure to support technological innovation. This is where an event like NCTCE2020 comes in; it helps to spread ideas and create the connections which really drive the changes we need to happen.”
Leanne Kemp, QLD Chief Entrepreneur also provided a video message to attendees, suggesting that the importance of this conference could lead us to refer to Queensland as “Cleansland” in the future.

EXHIBITION FLOOR PLAN LAUNCHED
Nick Moore, Partnerships Manager for the event launched the 2020 exhibition floorplan and revealed that even before the launch two of this year’s exhibitors had signed up again, Envac Australia and Greenplate.
With the event covering seven different industry sectors, there will be limited spaces for each sector ensuring a diverse showcase of Cleantech products and services. The exhibition will also be open to trade visitors in 2020, so we expect a significant increase in the numbers through the show floor.
